Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Erika Rucker and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Holistic Nurse Coach. I currently hold a BS in Psychology, a MS in Professional Counseling, and a BS in Nursing. I have been in practicing counseling and coaching for 14 years and love working with individuals and couples. I strive to use a wide range of techniques to meet each of my clients and couples where they are in their healing process.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I love to work with and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, eating disorders, and in couples counseling. I use a holistic approach that looks at the mind, body, and spirit because through my time of work I have found that each area must be healthy in order to have a a healthy and happy life and relationship.

It is always my goal to create a safe space for individuals and couples to do the work they need to heal and establish healthy relationships.

What you can expect from our first session

It is my goal to meet individuals and couples where they are in their healing process and to help guide them to their most authentic selves. When working with me I will help them set their own goals and leave each session with a goal and a way to meet that goal. I want them to walk away feeling empowered and in control of their own destiny. I work to make them feel safe, heard, cared about, and overall I want them to achieve their own happiness through a healthy mind, body, and soul.
