As a practical, interactive and solution-focused counselor, I provide support, education and practical feedback to help you resolve current problems and long-standing patterns you may desire to change. My approach is to help my clients uncover and alter thoughts or perceptions about their life that may be causing psychological distress.
I believe that as persons become more aware of their learned thoughts, perceptions and behaviors, they can make choices that work better for them. This often includes exploring ones triggers, internal processing, ways of coping with problems in the past and learning new skills. My goal for each person is to feel safe and supported as you learn new skills, develop new insights, and new tools to accomplish your goals for change.
