Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Liz, an LICSW who graduated from Simmons University with my MSW in 2021. I have worked almost 7 years in the addiction field, and currently am practicing in an integrated behavioral health site as well as here at Headyway! I focus primarily on anxiety, depression, and addiction although have experience with other mood disorders, grief and relationship dynamics. I utilize a person-centered approach, striving to create a safe and supportive environment where I meet you where you're at.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Together, we can work on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors that may contribute to your struggles. Through CBT techniques, we can replace these with healthy coping startles and help you regain control of your life. Additionally, we can utilize a solution-focused lens to help identify strengths and resources, setting achievable goals and making positive changes one step at a time.

What you can expect from our first session

Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgment. My goal is to help you build resilience, cultivate self-awareness and discover your own strengths all while addressing any life stressor you may be facing.
