I received a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from TAMIU and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College. I hold certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor and as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. My experience includes working with the Webb County Youth Village Detention Center, Webb County Treatment Program and as a full-time mental health counselor as well as a clinical supervisor at PILLAR.

A holistic, strength based, person centered approach guides my practice. I specialize in Play Therapy with children and adolescents and utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy, and psycho-education.

My theory is individuals who have the motivation to improve and courage to seek growth through vulnerability and hard work they can accomplish all the goals they desire.
