Great to meet you!

I specialize in trauma informed therapy with an emphasis on sexual violence, intimate partner violence, family violence and other gender/power-based harm. I am passionate about building awareness of our self-healing abilities and builidng wellness within communities of color. I earned my master’s in social work at California State University Long Beach. My clinical experience includes serving clients in university counseling and community-based counseling.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a trauma informed, client centered approach along with mixed modalities to provide affirming and empowering therapy. Trauma has a profound impact on the mind and body which can hinder how we connect with the self, with others and our environment. Healing from trauma is a multi-faceted and using a trauma informed approach can build on increasing sense of safety and confidence to navigate relationships and our environment as we move through the process of healing and growth.

What you can expect from our first session
