Great to meet you!

We all may experience hardships in life, whether sudden or gradual. As a Licensed Social Worker for the past 7 years, I have worked with clients undergoing stressful life transitions including chronic health problems, death and loss, family challenges and personal trauma. As a Veteran, I have counseled service members on stresses related to combat, redeployment and the effects of, ‘battlemind,’ on personal and family wellness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take an affirming, collaborative approach to foster a healthy therapeutic relationship based on trust and security. I enjoy working with individuals across the life spectrum using an eclectic theoretical approach to meet client’s specific needs and goals. I help each of my clients to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop individual and interpersonal strengths and resources to transform their lives.

What you can expect from our first session

I want you to feel safe, secure and comfortable throughout your therapeutic journey. I am open-minded, non-judgmental and focused on your needs and strengths. We will discuss issues that are challenging you and create a plan to support your healing, growth and goals.
