Great to meet you!

I am an LPC with a decade's worth of experience working with a wide variety of ages and populations. I received my B.A. in Psychology from James Madison University and my M.A. in Counseling from Montclair State University.

I am very experienced in working with children & adolescents directly (ages 5-17), as well as with parents and families. I also have experience working with older adolescents and young adults on the autism spectrum.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using a holistic approach in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, I assist my clients in changing their relationship with change and learn how to take back control over their lives. I do this by helping each individual become more aware of their thoughts and learn how to reframe them to help elicit a more ideal emotional feeling.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to take away a new perspective and a sense of control over their lives. They can expect to feel that they have the tools to not only manage stressors in the present, but moving forward as well. Clients can expect to start noticing changes in their approach to life in approximately 2-3 months, and more significant changes by 6 months.
