Great to meet you!

My name is Corine Brown (aka. Dr. C'MA), I have a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-BACS) based in New Orleans, LA. I honor the unique insights and expertise of the participant and tailor my efforts in an emergent and presence-centered way.

My work is a commitment to the cultivation of a felt-sense of empowerment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

A Social Work Embodied approach utilizes a strengths-focused lens, grounded in radical compassion and social work core values in an effort to reimagine what healing can feel like in light of one's own unique circumstances and the inherently oppressive systems we have learned to navigate throughout our lives.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe in operationalizing "Client As Expert" and I defer to participants to take a co-creative leadership role while I support and encourage them on their own healing journey. I honor neurodiversity and this process helps the participant come to feel more at home within themselves so that they can leave behind narratives that no longer serve them.

Corine's style is
