Great to meet you!

Experience with a wide array of issues: domestic violence and rape/sexual assault, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, plus a lot more. I've worked with couples, military, k-12, college students, adolescents, adults, and children. I have lead workshops for development: growth and developmental psychology and worked in classrooms. I am trained in DBT and EMDR. I have a B.A. with major in psychology, an M.S. Ed. in counselor education, and am 18 credit hours away from graduating with a Psy.D.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to ask a lot of questions, as I want to understand where clients are coming from and to be better able to meet the client where they are. If I don't understand something, I would like you to teach me. Therapy is educational for all involved and it is the clinician's responsibility to adjust to the needs of the client.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to gain insight and understanding of themselves and others. Additionally, client's can expect to set goals that guide therapy on a regular basis and to specifically define areas of concentration.
