Great to meet you!

Since about age 20, I knew I wanted to be a social worker. I know I can not save the world, but I am here to try to save the day by helping someone in need of support get through the challenges life can sometimes throw at us. In the safe space that I provide, I hope that I can help others achieve the healing they need and solutions to overcome their challenges while continuing on to obtain their goals in life. I have over 10 year of experience in mental health and have been an LCSW since 2020.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have experience supporting adolescents, young adults and adults with concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood, trauma, grief. I enjoy providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for individuals who feel alone or lack adequate support to help them process and prevail through situations they are experiencing. The types of therapy I offer include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Culturally Sensitive, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

In your experience with working with me, you can expect to leave sessions with a better understanding of yourself, as well as coping skills and strategies to help manage emotions, thoughts and feelings that have been generating unwanted responses. I love to work at the pace of the client as everyone’s healing journey is different and it is not to be rushed.
