Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Christina Preyor and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of GA. In addition to having specialized training to work with Child/Adolescent populations, I also find great fulfillment in working with Adults looking to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, unresolved grief and those seeking support as they embark on a journey of self-discovery.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In addition to being lively and engaging, I am known to be warm, but direct in my approach. I believe that building a genuine therapeutic relationship is imperative to growth in counseling. I use an integrative approach when working with clients, utilizing psycho-education, solution-focused techniques, journaling and other tools to facilitate growth and promote change throughout the counseling process.

What you can expect from our first session

During a session, clients can expect to be an equal partner in their mental health journey. As such, they will be encouraged to bring up topics or incidents of importance and asked their insights on presenting issues. At the end of a session, clients can expect to have some strategies for managing any presenting concerns and will be prompted to set small goals to achieve prior to the next session.
