Great to meet you!

I believe much of our pain, healing and growth revolve around relationships; relationships with self, family, friends, and community, as well as a broader connection to a "Greater Whole." My professional interests focus men’s issues, life transitions, sober support, depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement, suicidal ideation, and personal identity/interpersonal challenges. Sometimes it helps to remember that life's pains are inevitable, but suffering is not; I can help you sort the two out.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is integrative using research-based, solution-focused tools centered on the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and behavior; inner flexibility and acceptance; mindful awareness; and values-based action. YOU are the expert navigator in your own life. I strive to assume the role of companion guide and act as a source for fresh perspectives in a safe and supportive environment.

What you can expect from our first session

Life IS difficult and we all experience obstacles on our unique paths to inner peace and meaning. You are already looking for change in your life. I invite you to take the next steps on a journey towards wholeness. You will begin to explore where you are, where you want to go, what's in the way, and how I can help.
