Great to meet you!

I am not your "traditional" therapist. I prefer to make my sessions enjoyable and fun, while also making progress toward therapy goals. I have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Sexual and Gender Fluidity. I work with teens and adults with LGBTQ+ issues, personality disorders, addictions, and many others. One thing to know about me my hair will never be a "natural color" and I change it often!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a standpoint of understanding my clients through humor, conversation, and homework. I love using worksheets to maximize time both in session and out of session. I use multiple different modalities and I don't ever use the same modality for everyone because not everyone needs to same approach to therapy. I love what I do and I love getting to go down the road with my clients. You drive the car and together we will discover the path.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to take away knowledge, humor, and self-awareness from sessions with me. The first session will be more clinical than any other session. I am always open to an open dialogue and would prefer not to ask a thousand questions, rather I would love to listen to you and learn about your life through your eyes. I am open to talk about anything you need to. There is no topic that I have not been through before and I will always support healthy choices for you.
