My name is Carolyn Durham. I am a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and The University of Houston, Clear Lake where I earned my Master of Science degree in Counseling, and shortly thereafter, my professional counseling license. I have worked in the medical field for 10 years and have counseled people struggling with depression, anxiety, acute and chronic medical illnesses such as diabetes, cancer and stroke.

My therapeutic approach includes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) where we will evaluate how your thoughts affect your behavior, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) where we look at what you want to achieve from therapy.

Together we will identify emotions and stressors that contribute to your areas of concerns. We will focus on short term goals to alleviate these stressors and long term goals to adopt healthy coping strategies to become a better you.
