Great to meet you!

I've been a social worker for 10 years working in non-profit, senior care, and education. I have a Bachelor's of Social Work from The University of Montana and a Master's of Social Work from The University of Denver. For the past 7 years, I have worked with adolescents and young adults living with anxiety, depression, trauma, and Autism. I'm a registered yoga teacher and incorporate breathing techniques, meditation, and movement into my practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy with the belief that we heal and grow within relationship. I believe that everyone has inner resources to navigate life's challenges and we need others to walk alongside us as we do the difficult work of changing patterns of thought and behavior. Additionally, healing and growth require a holistic approach; many factors contribute to getting the care you need: culture, family dynamics, life experiences, physical health, etc. Together we will identify strengths and needs.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope for clients is that they leave sessions feeling heard and supported. I want you to have the tools and resources to be empowered to live life in the way you feel called to. You will leave with practical skills and a greater sense of confidence in your ability to manage difficult emotions and situations.
