Great to meet you!

I'm down to earth and approach therapy collaboratively. As an experienced therapist with 10+ years in private practice, I believe healing is an organic process that is different for each person. My therapeutic style includes providing a space to explore what’s in your heart. I also offer feedback, ideas, and problem solving. My approach draws from humanistic, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral approaches. I also provide Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

A bit about my approach to therapy

Clients have described me as 'insightful', 'easy to relate to', and having a 'playful sense of humor'

My deepest value as a therapist is creating a safe, non-judgmental space. Life can bring stressors that exceed our capacity to cope sometimes--no matter how strong and resilient we are.

What you can expect from our first session

I welcome diversity including all body sizes, races, sexualities, abilities, genders, religions, and political values. My experience includes working as a behavioral specialist for children and families; Clinical Director at two Community Based Agencies; and a hospital counselor focusing on maternal mental health.

I've lived half my life in California and half in Florida. I enjoy hiking, poetry, creative writing, and learning about different cultures.
