Great to meet you!

I have a master's degree in social work. I have been in private practice for the past 2 years, working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am currently not seeing children under 10 as I am currently only providing online therapy. I have a friendly nature and I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. I believe that my personal experiences help me to connect with my clients. I have experience with marriage, divorce, trauma, immigration, and multi-cultural issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an integrated approach to therapy according to the client's needs. I use a person-in-environment perspective to view the client holistically and to help the client identify factors in their environment that may be negatively impacting them. I use a strengths perspective because I believe that clients are more resilient than they realize. I acknowledge that trauma is at the root of most issues, so I use a trauma-informed approach to help clients have a better understanding of themselves.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to be met with curiosity and warmth. A good connection and rapport are integral to a healthy therapeutic alliance. Clients can expect to feel heard and not judged.
