Great to meet you!

Every day, I strive to be kinder, more compassionate, and a better listener so I can fully understand my clients to help them reach their goals. My experience ranges from in-home therapy, working directly with families, to mobile crisis units, where I provided people with support during their most vulnerable moments, to being a therapist where I am able to help people learn new skills, recognize patterns in their lives, and grow into the person they aim to be.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach, techniques, and interventions vary depending on the client's goals. I utilize a mixture of cognitive techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and mindfulness techniques that focus on truly being able to sense what is happening in your body and allowing yourself to be in the present moment.

What you can expect from our first session

Flexibility is the key to progress; what you need one day might not be what you need the next, and it is my job to help find what fits for you. My role is to be the guide, one who shows you the pathway, but allows you to explore and go deeper to uncover truth in your inner self. In sessions we will uncover new feelings or thoughts, and practice skills to help manage those. I also utilize "homework" to help build confidence in the real world.
