I am licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin with 24 years of experience as a therapist. My Masters Degree in Counseling is from Arizona State University. I help clients with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic insomnia, substance use, chronic illness and disability, caregiver stress, and life changes such relationship loss. I also have experience with and value working with first responders and other mental health professionals. I am here to support you with meeting your life goals.

My therapy practice utilizes multiple approaches, depending upon clients' individual needs. Person-centered, motivational, and trauma-informed therapy are the foundation of my work. For clients who want to address substance use, I can provide support whether your goal is abstinence or not. I also hold certificates in grief work, insomnia, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I want all my clients to feel welcomed, safe, and respected in therapy. It's also essential that we develop trust, collaborate, and communicate effectively to stay on track with meeting your goals. If you find it helpful, you are welcome to have your pets with you during our sessions. My dogs, however, will not be joining us!
