Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Anjalee, an LMHC practicing in Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida (go Gators!), I decided to jump head-first into counseling work, and I haven't regretted it for a single moment. I've spent the last few years working with clients who present a diverse range of challenges. If you'd like to process concerns related to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, identity formation, or substance use/sobriety, I'd love to chat with you!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a mostly person-centered approach to therapy; that is, I believe you are the expert of your life, and that you are capable of making healthy changes through your own decision-making. What am I here for? To listen non-judgmentally and provide unbiased, empirically-supported feedback. I also utilize CBT principles to help you understand the ways in which unproductive thoughts and actions may be stopping you from reaching your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy can have serious moments (we love an emotional breakthrough), but we're also here to have a good time! We'll emphasize your triumphs and successes just as much as the hardships and challenges. Common therapy goals with my clients typically include anxiety and depression symptom management, formation of healthy thinking patterns, healthy boundaries, and building a productive daily routine, just to name a few. We'll work toward these goals in a safe, supportive, and accepting environment.
