I am a social worker licensed in Michigan with 10 years of experience in the clinical field. I have worked with clients to address crisis intervention, life transitions, and chronic anxiety and depression. My areas of passion also include crisis of faith, body image, self-harm, and eating disorders.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, and dynamic. I see my role as that of a mentor and coach. I believe counseling is best done with a positive relationship and unconditional compassion. I focus on client centered therapy with clients setting the goals and pace of our sessions. I believe clients know themselves best, and I am coming alongside to support the journey! My counseling style tends to be eclectic, and I take from solution focused, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing models.

My goal in meeting with my clients is to create a safe space to learn and grow. I want my clients to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and challenged to utilize some tools going forward.
