I understand the decision to pursue therapy is not always an easy one. I recognize it can be intimidating to share your personal details with a relative stranger. As a therapist, I place an emphasis on cultivating a safe and supportive environment, where you can share your thoughts and feelings without judgement. It is my belief that all of my patients are capable of self- efficacy and living their best lives. Therapy is a place where we can further explore and gain insight into your thoughts and feelings.
I like to think of this as standing in a dark room with a flashlight; you are the one holding the flashlight, and as a therapist, I am simply there to help you decide which areas you would like to shine the light on.
I prefer to take an integrative approach to psychotherapy incorporating elements from both psychodynamic therapy, and CBT into my practice. I tailor my specific approach to the needs of the patient. I am looking forward to our work together.
