Great to meet you!

My name is Amaoge and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I strive to work alongside clients to overcome obstacles and process emotions in order to live a more stable and desirable life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

While working from a person-centered approach, I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques to empower and help individuals in areas including family conflict and relationship issues, trauma, and emotional and behavioral issues including depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, low self-esteem, difficulties with communication, and social issues.

What you can expect from our first session

I am a strong believer in the connection between mind, body, and soul and love mental health. I believe that growth and healing are an inside job, and my role is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space that supports vulnerability while processing and addressing personal issues. I can offer long-term and short-term psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults. I believe each individual has value and purpose and should be empowered to achieve personal goals. I look forward to meeting you.
