Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Amanda Stranko, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota as of March of 2023. I graduated in 2017 with my Masters of Science degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Since entering the field five years ago, I have worked with clients around general mental health concerns and healthy sexuality, especially the impacts this can have on a person's mental health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have an integrative approach to counseling that includes: person-centered, strength-based, trauma informed care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I want to know your story and what brought you to see me. Only through this can we find a path forward that is best for you and your needs.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect a safe and nonjudgmental space to address your concerns. In this, our goals will be to discover healthy and appropriate coping skills to managing mental health concerns. In doing so, you will have a better understanding of yourself and the concerns that bought you to see me while learning to live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
