Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed counselor for 13 years. I have successfully provided services for couples, families, and individuals facing mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues, grief, and PTSD, among others. I enjoy helping people heal and grow. I accomplish that by having a genuine, emphatic, respectful, and nonjudgmental attitude during our counseling experience

A bit about my approach to therapy

My role as your counselor is to support, encourage and assist you in doing the necessary work to discover, understand, heal and move forward. I use particular concepts and techniques selected from a broad range of therapies. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused, Behavior Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Mindfulness. I integrate these and other therapies with Biblical principles and a Christian worldview.

What you can expect from our first session

The process can at times, be very challenging, difficult and even painful. However, the goal will always be to bring about some positive change. I will often give homework assignments for you to continue working on until our next scheduled session. My goal is to help you thrive, not just strive in life. I look forward to walking through your journey with you.
