I am a Columbia University trained and affiliated psychiatrist and neuroscientist. I work with adults in both medication management and psychotherapy, with a particular focus on mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
My practice strives to take a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental stance to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, incorporating medication and/or psychotherapy as appropriate. My treatment approach draws from multiple perspectives in psychiatry, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and neuroscience.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a research fellow at Columbia’s Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute. My research focuses on the organization of regulatory brain circuits that underly many psychiatric and movement disorders.
