I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. After completing training in Professional Counseling at Texas State University-San Marcos in 2013, I began practicing Counseling. In addition to caring for patients via telehealth, I have experience practicing in Inpatient/IOP/PHP, community mental health non-profit agency settings, and private practice. My strengths are in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), but also use a variety of techniques from other therapy styles to reduce psychological pain related to sadness, stress, and anxiety. I believe I have much to offer you in terms of a holistic approach to therapy that puts you in the driver seat, and a non-judgmental safe space to discuss any problem you wish to bring into the office. I am no stranger to tapping into my own personal reservoir of kindness and compassion when it comes to helping my clients. There is a behavioral piece to therapy too. I offer my clients a way to structure their goals into manageable chunks. We touch base regularly to check progress. My clients tell me about the clarity they achieve by having a safe space to speak openly about what matters most to them. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, yoga, and martial arts.
