Great to meet you!

I am a licensed LCSW in four states and practice telehealth in MI, CO, NM and SD. My psychotherapy practice is called Shiloh Hill Counseling because I think of it as a place for people to come to experience peace, safety, and understanding.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in working with adults and utilize a broad range of therapeutic modalities such as but not limited to motivational interviewing, psycho-education, CBT, strengths-based approach, DBT, grief work, mindfulness and EFT. The hardest part is taking the first step and asking for “help.” Most of us like to think of ourselves as independent, competent and “tough.” At some point in life, all of us struggle with painful emotions and thoughts. I believe "one size does not fit all" in therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

The journey to self awareness and self-acceptance begins with listening and understanding. We all want to be heard and understood. But, I don’t just listen and nod. I offer a variety of flexible psychotherapeutic techniques to deal with anxiety, depression, stress, COVID-19 related mental health issues and relationship and intimacy issues.
