Great to meet you!

Thanks for looking! I have been practicing psychotherapy for 4 years. I focus on treating trauma and attachment wounds and their effects on the brain and body, including challenges with depression, anxiety, relationships, and low-self esteem. I utilize EMDR and weave in mindfulness, body-based, Emotion-Focused interventions when helpful. If you are curious about whether I can help, feel free to schedule phone consult and ask me anything!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I follow your lead in identifying what you want to see change and work to identify the source of the symptoms. I present options, and make sure you know what is going on in your treatment, and will always check in before making course corrections. I prefer to be a real person in therapy, so you can expect to have someone who will laugh, cry, and celebrate with you when you need.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session, we'll focus on where you've been on your mental health journey and where you want to go. Along the way I'll introduce some tools we'll be using in therapy and explain them so you know the "why" behind treatment. As we keep working together I'll make sure we stay on the path you set so we can get you the fastest symptom relief in the safest way we can.
