The foundation of my practice is based on building an open and trusting alliance with my clients which can only be achieved through active listening, offering of unconditional positive regard, and creating an environment where every client can feel emotionally and physically safe.

A bit about my approach to therapy

All clients who seek clinical intervention with my practice are recognized as having unique strengths and needs. My clinical expertise in treating a wide range of emotional challenges coupled with my compendium of practice modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma Focused Therapy (TFT) allows for an individual-specific treatment approach with a high degree of success.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to experience a great sense of personal comfort and emotional safety which facilitates a thorough assessment of the concern and its' effect on functioning. Clients will also experience a clear understanding of the treatment process, knows what to expect from one session to the next, and learn lifelong skills to restore healthy functioning.
