Great to meet you!

I have worked with children and families in varying capacities as a social worker over the past 20 years providing trauma-informed care. As I began to work with more families and couples in counseling, I realized that my passion lies in helping people connect with their emotions to understand their impact on their relationships. In your sessions, we will explore how the outside world and your inner world impact your lived experience.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a humanistic perspective in my approach to working with clients and utilize evidence-based methods to treat anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles and general acculturation issues. I will come alongside you on your journey with an inquisitive mind to help you develop a more coherent narrative of your lived experience. Together, we will create a safe space in which we can explore deeper emotions and increase awareness of your inner truth.

What you can expect from our first session

Together, we will create a safe space where we collaboratively identify goals in session. You will receive feedback and we will discover different and effective coping skills that work for you.
