Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping women and men in an atmosphere of peace, acceptance and total respect. I can help students, single, married, newly separated, divorced, SAH and working moms cope with transitional and environmental changes, crisis, midlife issues, caregiver stress, chronic illness, grief and loss.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a gentle approach with people; I am patient and believe that each client is the expert of their own life. My job is to facilitate personal and emotional growth. I use a blend of evidenced based practice, cognitive, strength-based, solution focused and psychodynamic approaches. I also use a narrative style therapy that is transformational and emotionally healing. I often use drawing, painting and sand tray techniques in office that help with expression of subconscious themes.

What you can expect from our first session

I prefer to use strength based approaches, dealing with what people can do today and tomorrow. I adjust myself to what each individual needs. I beleive in open communication and encourage clients to participate in treatment options.

In-person session are available but with limited availability. Please contact me if you would prefer an office session. There is no guarantee of approval.
