Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Dr. Viratri Phonrome. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who loves to assist my clients in living their lives to their fullest potential. I firmly believe in using warm, empathic, and holistic approaches in building therapeutic relationships with my clients. I have experience working with clients who experience ongoing depression and anxiety in both in- and outpatient settings.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I view my clients as unique individuals with different life needs and outlooks. I therefore offer a practical integrated therapeutic approach that aims to help them learn how to live happier while enduring everyday struggles. I work collaboratively with them to discover their strengths, weaknesses, and insights into who they are.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients usually tell me they feel understood and want to share more with me after the first session. I value rapport-building and helping them feel safe expressing their harrowing stories. I meet them where they are, so I will not force them to talk about things they are not ready to do. From my experiences, a trusting therapeutic relationship is what helps my clients grow.
