What does it mean to live a happy and content life? Free of emotional pain? Each of us have a unique answer to this question. Our thoughts and experiences sometimes impose impediments to answering this question. In my personal and professional experience, I have developed an intimate understanding of why we have a hard time answering this question. A good counselor helps you identify these barriers and find ways to minimize them. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have found success in empowering my clients to gain insight and help them develop new realizations that maximizes their potential to answer this question. I believe there are a few skills that make this empowerment possible. When you develop these skills, all doors open and nothing stops you from achieving your goals. My treatment specialization includes therapy for depression and anxiety, trauma, work and career issues, stress management, addiction and recovery, couples counseling, family counseling, grief counseling, and conflict resolution. I have extensive experience dealing with children, adolescents, and adults. My goal is simple: incorporate strength-based collaborative approach that creates insight through self-exploration, motivates positive change, and allows you to achieve harmony and a happier life.
