Sometimes, it isn’t what happens to us that causes us to suffer, it’s what we say to ourselves about what happens. I work to empower people to address their issues and overcome personal obstacles. I don’t believe in focusing on labels and diagnosis. I believe that people sometimes struggle with different behaviors, emotions and thoughts. My job is to help you address, modify, explore, change or just understand those behaviors, emotions and thoughts so that you can maximize your potential and be the best you that you can be! I have a unique educational and experiential background. I began my studies at Duke University and also have degrees from Columbia University and St. John's University. I have worked in senior positions at the NYPD, FDNY, and the US Army. I have specialized skills and training working with survivors of trauma and I am also skilled in clinical assessment.
The only constant in the universe is change, but change is never easy. I am here to help you on the journey toward making changes in your life. Let’s make the journey of 100 steps together. If you take the first step, I will help you take the next 99.
