Great to meet you!

I appreciate your courage just for looking for a therapist. Leading from your Self is easier when you make friends with parts of you. Sometime we experience reactions, sensations, thoughts, feelings that seem unwelcome. I welcome every part of you, no matter how scary or stubborn it may seem.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, meaning: YOU'RE the expert. I use many types of therapy: Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and CBT. Having worked in the community, I see how Trauma informs lives and families over generations. I've lived and worked in NYC for 24 years. I come to Therapy with a deep respect for all people and cultures. I do not judge my clients. I invite them to be compassionate towards the person in the mirror (and all their imperfect parts).

What you can expect from our first session

I have worked with hundreds of clients, and my work has reached thousands of people. Each session is unique. Some people want to have incorporate therapy as part of their life routine, other people want to solve specific issues over a brief period of time. Both are welcome. I've learned that 90% of personal growth is awareness. I hope that clients take away a sense of their capacity for change, objectivity and a great sense of personal agency.
