Right now, I'm trying to put myself in your shoes. The first question that I typically ask my clients is "What brings you here today?" You will answer that question in a way that only you can. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have an MS Ed. from Hunter College. I have worked with people to treat trauma, anxiety and depression to help nurture themselves and to gain traction when they are feeling "stuck". I use elements of Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions.
I like the idea that therapy can be "dialectic", which just means that while we discover your therapy together, through discourse. I meet you where you are and we go from there.
