Great to meet you!

I practice psychotherapy from a place of warmth, respect, compassion, mindful presence, and curiosity. Therapy can be a place to explore different sides of the self, while taking a step back to gain a broader perspective. Whether you are here to manage stress, challenge unhelpful thoughts, or heal from wounds of the past, the first step is reaching out for support. You don't have to navigate this alone. I can offer a safe space that is culturally aware, trauma-informed, and free of judgement.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach includes a wholistic focus on mental, emotional, and physical wellness as this creates a healthy foundation for change. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms. We can work with mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), talk therapy, or narrative therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

We will work together to establish a treatment plan that is specific to what you are experiencing. I will help you to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, improve communication, regulate challenging emotions, and practice patience with yourself during therapy.
