Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist and Certified School Counselor. I obtained my B.F.A. in Theater Arts/ Dance and M.Ed in Counseling Psychology from Howard University and my Advanced Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University- Brooklyn Campus.

I've worked with various populations including, parole and probation, substance abuse, community based mental health agencies, residential and outpatient programs, at risk youth, group homes, in-home therapy, and state mandated counseling, school and private settings.

From a holistic and strength-based approach, my role is to support individuals experiencing a range of psychological and social-emotional concerns, including Life Transitions (High School, College, Career, Mid-life Crisis and Health Issues), Mood Disorders (Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Trauma and PTSD), and Relationships (Personal, Family, and Employment). My treatment orientation integrates Person-centered therapy, SFBT, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
