Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed counselor and a certified alcohol & drug counselor. I have over 20 years of experience working with those with life dominating issues including substance abuse and dependence, depression, anxiety, marriage/family issues and trauma. I have been trained in EMDR and have experience in residential treatment and acute hospital care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapy approach is that I believe everyone has the potential to create the life they want to live. As a therapist, I listen with compassion and understanding, helping the client to discover and understand their true self - while navigating relationship challenges, difficult circumstances, and internal conflicts - to help them overcome whatever may be holding them back or keeping them from living their best life.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to experience a safe space to process whatever they may want or need to discuss; to have access to the 20 years of training and experience I offer; and to walk away from a session feeling heard and empowered, while receiving life and relational skills they can implement on a daily basis and for years to come.
