Great to meet you!

When you are trying to find the right therapist it shouldn’t be difficult or intimidating.

I have always felt finding a therapist is like dating, but the therapist doesn’t have to share.

I want my clients to feel safe and want to share their struggles. I try to make therapy easier and keep the first session relaxed. There are no expectations from me for you to be perfect.

I want you to feel empowered to take the first step to increase your confidence and self-awareness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, I think that it is important that we get to know one another and talk about what brought you to therapy. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and triggers. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to challenge those thoughts and reframe them so that you do not feel they control you.

What you can expect from our first session

“If you are not laughing, you are crying” is something I have heard before – I think that is true. During our sessions, I try to create moments of humor and times of seriousness. Life can be hard sometimes, and feeling stuck can make you feel helpless. I am here to help show other options or perspectives of what is going on.
