Reaching out to a therapist can be a daunting task. It is difficult to make changes and break unhealthy patterns and anxiety and depression can feel crippling. However, most people find that it is worth it because therapy can play a large role in helping individuals lead happier, more productive lives. We all face challenges but with the proper support, your challenges do not need to define you or stop you from achieving happiness and success. While my orientation is primarily psychodynamic, I believe in treating each patient as an individual.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults coping with a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, challenging life circumstances, transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. I strive to help patients develop skills to cope with anxiety, stress, depression, and other emotional pressures.
My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where patients can talk openly and freely without fear of judgment. In this space, patients can reflect on their experiences in order to better understand themselves and work towards their goals. I take a collaborative approach in developing the right plan for an effective treatment for each individual.
