My style of therapy does not consist of "fixing," but rather creating a safe space in a non-judgmental environment for you to explore whatever is holding you back from reaching your true potential. I am compassionate, down to earth, and work from a holistic perspective, including incorporating mindfulness into my work. While I am trained in many different modalities, I will individualize each experience to meet whatever clinical goals you wish to achieve.
I specialize in trauma and also have extensive experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating/body image issues, relationship problems, life transitions, career issues, and self-esteem. My job is to help you identify what's happening in your body and mind in order to create new pathways to improve your overall wellness.
While I utilize psychodynamic theories, mind-body connections, mindfulness and meditation, expressive therapies, cognitive/behavioral interventions, and many others dependent upon your needs, trust and empathy are at the core of my work. I look forward to hearing from you!
