My goal is to efficiently and sustainably offer you tools you can use to support healing and to become more mindful in practical, everyday ways; to reach beyond where you already are in order to move to your optimal expression; to find a deepened self-acceptance, increased self-compassion, and a greater sense of wholeness.
Additionally, through different methods of counseling we would work to find ways to help you live more consciously, more oriented to the present moment and to an awareness of the choices you have to what life brings your way.
Because each person carries a unique history and specific challenges, I am trained in a number of psychological theories including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, DBT, Dance Movement Therapy, Somatic Experiencing ®, and Yoga Therapy.
