Great to meet you!

Shana decided at a young age that it was her life's purpose to speak for those that did not have a voice. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Olivet College in 2014 and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2016. Her primary specialty includes working with those with any kind of addiction. She also assists clients in working through life's problems, such as relationship issues, history of trauma, and occupational problems.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Shana seeks to promote holistic wellness, which encompasses 7 dimensions: spiritual, physical, emotional, career, intellectual, environmental, and social. She aims to accomplish this feat by meeting each individual where they are at in the moment of first encounter to best fit their current needs and desires. She understands that a one-size fits all approach is not best practice, so she treats each client as their own person through active listening and mindfulness.

What you can expect from our first session

Shana uses active listening and mindfulness to gauge each client's goals on an individual basis and encourages skill building for the client to accomplish their goals independently. She creates an open, inclusive environment for all individuals to feel comfortable.
