In my work I use therapy to help identify and support my clients in getting what they want out of life. Whether it is making a big life change, working on a relationship, or resolving an issue that you have not been able to get a handle on, therapy can help you develop the necessary tools and insight to navigate through life's challenges. Furthermore, the skills you will gain will help you not only with the presenting problem, in our work we will explore how these skills can be applied to improve other areas of your life.
I am trained in many clinical interventions to be applied to individuals struggling with mental health disorders and daily life challenges. My approach is collaborative- I work with my clients to establish their goals and come up with a working plan to ensure we are meeting them.
My background includes work with adolescent and adult individuals, families, and groups struggling with a variety of mental health issues. I have worked as part of the city's hospital system in an outpatient mental health program for 6 years. I have also worked in education and crisis intervention.
