Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and Relationship Issues

Great to meet you!

I am licensed clinical social worker and received my MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. I have been practicing for over 5 years, primarily working with adults of all ages. The areas of focus I most enjoy working with include depression, different forms of anxiety, OCD, relationship problems, and occupational stressors. I have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and of various cultural identities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy first places emphasis on making sure you feel understood and listened to. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist that will incorporate structured exercises into our sessions while also bringing in mindfulness techniques and other frameworks when appropriate. I believe in goal oriented therapy and am happy to collaborate on your therapy goals or agenda for each session.

What you can expect from our first session

I want my clients to feel like I am on the same team as them! Having a trustworthy relationship where you are supported and validated is very important to our work together. I also want clients to feel like there is an action plan towards their goals, this will include different types of therapy homework at times. I believe in teaching clients how to be their own therapist and to continue our work outside of session.
