Dr. DenBoer

Dr. DenBoer specializes in the psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/intervention of children, adolescents, and young adults. She is well-known for her comprehensive psychoeducational and neurodevelopmental evaluations, as she has extensive training and expertise in assessing and diagnosing learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, language disorders, etc.), ADHD, and autism, amongst others. She is a member of numerous county, state, and national professional associations and is the only provider in all of SWFL listed on the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) provider directory to offer evaluation for dyslexia!

Dr. DenBoer was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree at The State University of New York – Brockport (near Rochester). Upon moving to Florida, she completed her predoctoral internship at The University of Miami’s Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital and residency/fellowship at a private practice. Dr. DenBoer has been practicing in Southwest Florida for nearly 10 years and is affiliated with the Lee Health hospital organization, servicing Gulf Coast, Health Park, Lee Memorial, and Cape Coral hospitals.

In her spare time, Dr. DenBoer enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. While she appreciates the warmth and sun that Florida offers, she also enjoys traveling to New York and Michigan to visit with her extended family.
