Therapy is a space for exploration, connection, growth, and change. Throughout your sessions, you will get to know yourself better and gain awareness of your patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Once you have that awareness and understanding of yourself, you will have opportunities to make changes to those patterns and to your life. You will get to know your strengths and weaknesses well and you’ll develop ways to make the best of both. My role as a therapist is to accompany and guide my clients on this journey, knowing when to be gentle and when to push a little bit harder to make progress towards your goals.

I specialize in working with women who are facing big life changes and transitions, individuals with family members who have mental illness, and those struggling with relationship issues. I use an integrated approach that combines CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, trauma-focused and attachment based approaches.

Thinking about going to a new therapist, whether you’ve done it before or not, can be overwhelming. It takes openness, courage, and sometimes a little desperation to get on board. But the results make the discomfort worthwhile. If you’re already here, congratulations! You have taken the brave first step. Feel free to reach out by phone or email.
