I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and therapist in New York and California, who has been practicing since 2012. I received my Masters in Social Work from California State University, Northridge and a Masters in Counseling Education from Hunter College. I provide therapy in both NY and CA. I also offer coaching services remotely via phone or Skype. In NY, I provide in office therapy as well as teletherapy. In California, I provide teletherapy.
As someone who had been affected by BDD and anxiety, I have a unique perspective and approach. I combine research-based treatment and my own successful treatment strategies and tailor them to each individual client. BDD, OCD, and Anxiety Disorders can be life-changing and painful.
However, with the right modality, including cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention, acceptance commitment therapy, and mindfulness and DBT, you can learn to not engage in compulsions, challenge the way you think and feel, and most importantly, come to experience a healthier and better quality of life.
